Data Sources & Attribution

NZ Fuel Watch aggregates data from the following publicly available sources:

Independence disclaimer. NZ Fuel Watch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to MBIE, VesselFinder, Yahoo Finance, any fuel company, port authority, or New Zealand government agency. We are also not associated with the "Fuel Watch NZ" Facebook page (facebook.com/fuelwatchnz) or any other similarly named service. All trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners.

Data accuracy. Data is aggregated and displayed automatically. We do not verify individual data points. If you notice an error, please let us know via the contact form.

AI-Generated Content

NZ Fuel Watch uses artificial intelligence to generate risk assessments and supply analysis displayed on the dashboard. These assessments are produced automatically by analysing data from the sources listed above.

AI limitations. AI-generated analysis may contain errors, misinterpretations, or outdated conclusions. The AI does not have access to non-public information and cannot predict future events. Risk levels and assessments reflect a point-in-time interpretation of available data and should not be treated as authoritative.

Audience. The dashboard is written for the general public, not for technical or internal review. We aim for plain language, current data, and clear source attribution.

Not advice. AI-generated content on this site is not financial, investment, safety, or emergency advice. Always verify critical decisions with official sources including MBIE, National Emergency Management Agency (Civil Defence), and your fuel supplier.

No liability. We accept no liability for any decisions made based on AI-generated content displayed on this site.
